Each spring and fall the City of Kent hosts Team Up 2 Clean Up! A litter cleanup event where community members work to beautify Kent as individuals or in teams at various locations around the city. The Kent AM Kiwanis Club and 19 young members of the Kentridge Key Club participated in a joint service project on September 18th. Meeting up at the Golden Steer they made it their mission to help clean up the East Hill.

Our first joint service project with the Kentridge Key Club was a great success. Key Club members around the world are learning how to lead and stand for what’s right through service and volunteerism. In partnership with their local Kiwanis club, high school students are making a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and communities. As Kiwanians we are proud to help shape the future generation of community members through our sponsorship of the Kentridge Key Club.
